The following needs were felt by institution behind organising the alumni meet

• Enhance the effectiveness of the alumni association
• Increase the alumni connectivity/ affinity and sense of pride
• Creation of Career Mentor Program to help in placement of PENDEKANTI products to enhance brand image of college.

Many strategies and tactics associated with them will enable the Alumni Association to become a force in helping interested alumni find various ways to serve. We need alumni to reconnect to the College. Homecoming always provides a great opportunity. To help us reach out to alumni, the College is interested to invest significantly in the area of alumni relations this year.

Following Objectives/ Activities are defined in line with guidelines of PIM

Objectives

• To create a dynamic link between the Institute and Alumni.
• To forge a bond amongst the Alumni.
• To help the Institute in building PIM brand.
• Support from Alumni in providing better wholesome education and placements to students.
• To enrich PIM with their experience in Professional career

Activities of ALUMNI COMMITTEE

• To generate a detail list of Alumni working in and out of the city/region, and help PIM in updating common list.
• To organize regular get together.
• To recognize achievements of alumni.
• To maintain regular contact with PIM. The information/news from PIM shall be sent to the Secretary/Convener of the committee for further transmission to members
• To act as a support network to members.
• To bring out newsletter of PIM and to contribute to main Alumni Newsletter.
• To collect funds for running the activities of PIM. The funds may be raised in the form of annual subscription and/or special contributions for specific purpose.

Frequency of Alumni Meet: This association can organize following signature event - Annual Alumni meet every year, Secondly, PIM Alumni Achiever Award towards recognition of achievements in real world scenario in various fields’ viz. entrepreneurship, research, academics or industry leadership. Also talks by expert, seminar on emerging trends in Global existence, panel discussions and networking events.
